This week’s brief — 2026-W28

Board report →
Northwind Global's AIDE Index rose to 64.3 (+1.3 w/w), holding the Advancing tier and
the 71st percentile of the S&P 500 AIDE cohort. Gains were led by Data & AI and Technology,
which together now run the majority of the 182 production agents instrumented across the company.

What changed this week
• 182 production AI agents now instrumented across 14 divisions (2.1M runs to date).
• Claude + Copilot + M365 Copilot active-seat usage up 6% w/w; Engineering power-user share hit 74%.
• OSINT flagged three competitor AI product announcements and two senior AI hires (see Competitors).

Watch items
• Workforce pillar (56) still lags leadership (72). Two drags: (1) Facilities and Manufacturing
sit at near-zero AI literacy — genuine blind spots, not yet enabled; (2) the manager band across
Finance, Legal, Operations and Supply Chain is below 50 despite licensed access. High spend, thin activation.
• The Upskilling Sprint (Feb) and AI Literacy Week (Nov) both show up as step-changes in the trend —
worth repeating for the lagging cohorts.
• 3 agents remain unlinked to an accountable owner — a governance gap flagged on the Org × AI map.
